Rockstar's decision to exclude the PS3 and Xbox 360 in the latest GTA 5 Freemode DLC was a shock to the last-gen console gamers. The question that the veteran GTA 5 gamers are wrestling with right now is whether Rockstar has decided to completely cease support of last-gen. The only answer we can offer now is "probably not," but when it comes to what's next for the GTA 5 DLC updates, your guess is as good as mine.
We probably still have about a week or so before GTA 5 October DLC rumors arrive at full force. Until then, we do know that past source codes have revealed that anticipated updates could include the GTA 5 Casino DLC, GTA 5 Mansion DLC, and GTA 5 Low Life, or Lowrider, DLC. Unfortunately, the past couple of GTA 5 updates have yet to deliver on any of the predictions.
According to renownend GTA 5 tipster and YouTuber DomisLive, another new Rockstar game code was recently discovered following the Freemode DLC. It reads: "0xCED5A615 = Start your day like a pro: play 8 hours of Casino blackjack with your remortgager and divorce attorney. then wash it all down with a time trial through North LS to a Vinehood Hills mansion you'll never own."
The in-game text is casual yet descriptive, mentioning both Casino and mansions in the same sentence. However, DomisLive warns that the whole source code seems inconsequential and even questions whether Rockstar is trolling on its community of diehard gamers.
"Now this is pretty interesting here," says DomisLive. "I'm laughing at this one because I don't know if it's a troll or if is it just a description. Rockstar listens to the community and they know for a fact that we all have been clamoring over Mansions and Casino DLC. They know this. They watch the video and they read the comments."
As a refresher, the GTA 5 Mansion DLC was last rumored to be a part of the Ill-Gotten Gains update, which would cater to the high-wealth gamers within GTA Online. Mansions would function exactly like the high-end luxury apartments and feature starage for cars as well as more room for activities with friends including a game of tennis, darts, or a swim in the pool.
Earlier this year, rumors of a GTA 5 Casino DLC spurred reports of the grand opening of the Los Santos Casino, which had been a shuttered landmark on the map for ages. The Casino DLC would reportedly also deliver a new economy system via the ability to gamble your money away on table games include poker, roulette, slot, blackjack, horse race betting, lottery, and more.
Finally, the rumored GTA 5 Lowrider DLC allegedly delivers 12 new cars including new variations of the Faction, Moonbeam, Primo, Sabre GT, Virgo, Chino, clean Voodoo, Buccaneer, Tornado, and Slamvan.
